Q: |
"What was the repair estimate on the torque box crack?
Do the ground ladders come with it?
Is there anything else being removed other than the loose equipment?" - Asked by #575686 10/05/2017 06:57 PM |
A: |
Estimate of the repair of the torque box crack was not completed as service dealer was waiting to hear back from manufacturer.

Q: |
"Is this rig being replaced with a grant? Is that the reason for the no fire service use letter? or is it the condition of the torque box?" - Asked by #575686 10/05/2017 07:01 PM |
A: |
We will be applying for a grant and that is one reason we will ask for the written statement as well as generally to absolve us from any potential liability. As far as we know the torque box is not an issue it is the crack on the supporting framework that holds it. A repair of the crack and certification that the ladder is serviceable may be possible but beyond our knowledge to determine that.
