The successful bidder shall make payment to Oakland Township in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order, made payable to Oakland Township, 565 Chicora Road, Butler, PA 16001. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. Winning bid is pending approval by Oakland Township Board of Supervisors. Oakland Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the township. The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs incurred for title transfer as may be required, if any. Pick up must be scheduled.

Accepting sealed bids to be opened April 5, 2017 @ 7 p.m. Sealed bids can be mailed or dropped off by 2:00 p.m. at : Oakland Township Municipal Building, 565 Chicora Road, Butler, PA 16001. Bids start at $25,000. Supervisors have the right to accept or deny any or all bids if they do not follow/meet set guidelines. It is bidders responsibility to inspect vehicle and equipment prior to bidding.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
