The property is in the R2 zone, closing costs and fees would be determined later based on purchase price and closing agent's fees, etc.

There are no buildings. There was a building that was destroyed by fire. There were connections when there was a building there either off Ray or Chestnut Street. I am sure those connections can be reestablished.

R-2 is the Two Family residential district. Permitted uses are single-family attached dwellings, single-family detached dwellings, Two family dwellings, Public Utility facilities (excluding storage yards), and accessory uses to the listed permitted uses. There are also uses permitted by special exception.

"When fire destroyed the former building did the ground become contaminated in any way , shape or form? i.e. any pollutants come from the house and drain into the ground after the fire like oil from the oil tank or stored chemicals of any kind? The Borough is unaware of any contamination. There has been no ground testing performed by the Borough.
