Item Description
2005 Sterling Single Axle Truck with J&J Aluminum BodyThis listing is for a 2005 Sterling single axle truck with a J&J aluminum body. The truck has been in our possession since new and has been meticulously garage kept. It is currently inspected until December of 2025.
Included with the truck is an Everest snow plow featuring a Gledhill style hitch, as shown in the pictures. This truck is a Penn Dot Spec. vehicle and is equipped with Storm Guard controls. We are still using the truck until our new one arrives in December or possibly January, and can attest that everything on the truck functions perfectly.
Recent maintenance includes new brake shoes and drums on the front and rear, along with 2 new tires on the left rear axle. The remaining tires are in excellent condition. While the truck may require an alignment as the steering wheel is off center when driving straight, it is otherwise in top working order.
To ensure optimal performance, we have kept a battery tender on the truck to prevent battery drainage during extended periods of inactivity. The batteries have been replaced this year as well. The truck is powered by a reliable C7 Cat Engine and features an Allison automatic transmission that runs smoothly.
Seller’s Terms & Conditions
Winning bid will be awarded at the regularly scheduled Board meeting of Hereford Township Board of Supervisors. Payment to the Township of full amount of the successful bid by certified check or money order shall be made within fifteen (15) days of notice from the Township of awarding of bid. Successful bidder must remove the equipment from the Hereford Township Maintenance Garage within fifteen (15) days of awarding the bid. The Hereford Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All sales shall be made “as is” “where is” basis.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
