Truck was purchased by used in 2020 from a neighboring municipality for use as a leaf collection truck and has primarily been used as such, and truck is being replaced as part of our equipment replacement program
Mercedes-Benz powered diesel MBE 900, 280 HP, 6-cylinder engine
Allison 3500 RDS 6-speed push button selector transmission
Truck has 2 brand new steer tires and has recently been serviced, and has a fresh PA inspection, truck is weight class 18
ODB Leaf unit is powered by a John Deere Diesel engine with 1,474 hours, unit has been serviced regularly and recent work includes a new water pump and thermostat.
Leaf unit has a 25yd capacity and all equipment functions properly
Truck also has hookup for plow as well as provisions for rear hydraulic tailgate spreader/spinner THERE IS NO PLOW OR TAILGATE SPREADER/SPINNER INCLUDED

Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form binding contracts as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of Award or the Borough reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to Richland Borough in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or money order, made payable to Richland Borough, 5 Pine st Richland PA 17087. Successful bidder shall remove the item(s) within seven calendar days following the award and receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. Auction results WILL BE VOTED ON and the Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof. PICKUP IS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00AM- 2:00PM

EQUIPMENT TITLE TRANSFER- The successful bidder shall be responsible for all cost incurred for title transfer as may be required, if any. All equipment offered for sale within this contract is currently owned and maintained by Richland Borough, Pennsylvania
PRE-BID INSPECTION- All equipment offered for sale may be inspected on site Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00AM and 2:00PM at the Public Works Garage 5 Pine st Richland PA 17087 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Equipment is offered for sale "AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES" the successful bidder, upon making payment and taking ownership, shall be responsible for removal and all costs incurred for removal of said equipment. Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up the equipment. Delivery is not available. Richland Borough is not responsible for equipment once it has left the Borough property. In the event the successful bidder is unable to schedule removal of equipment at time of purchase, special exceptions must be agreed upon.
Equipment can be arranged for pick up at the Public Works Garage, 5 Pine st Richland PA 17087, PICKUP IS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00AM- 2:00PM
