10/02 Elgin Crosswind Series J Serial No. J0518D on a Sterling SC8000 chassis with a Cummins 5.9ISB engine and a John Deere 4.5 pony motor 13,865 mile and 3321 hours on the chassis and 2958 hours on the pony motor. Last in service 2023, put out of service due to loss of vacuum caused by rust holes on the hopper/body. 11/2024 state inspection was performed and passed. Check engine light comes and goes for code related to crank sensor/VP44 pump and received a quote of $3200 for repairs. Extra wear parts, service/ owner’s manual and stack of service records to go along with sale.
