Item Description
The rotary street sweeper, made by John Deere, was only used two times. The borough upgraded its John Deere 4100 series tractor and consequently this rotary brush did not fit. It is 52 inches wide and 21 inches in diameter. It is designed to fit the following: The 52-in. (132-cm ) Rotary Broom is compatible with X700 Series and 1023E, 1025R, 1026R, model year 2016 and older 2025R and 2032R, 2305-2720, 2210, 4010, 4110, 4115, and 4100 Tractors.* It is necessary to purchase a power take-off kit to extend that power output to the front of the tractor to attach it there. It can be used to remove both gravel and snow from streets and sidewalks.
*This information was secured from John Deere's web site.

Q: |
"So the long PTO shaft shown in the pics is to connect the brush to a JD model 4100 tractor?" - Asked by #15529150 04/28/2025 11:01 PM |
A: |
Yes. The power take off is located in the back of the tractor. The kit is necessary to bring the power output to the front of the tractor. We had to purchase that kit. Therefore if we did we will include it in the purchase of the brush. We bought it and would not have any use for it now. So it may not be necessary to purchase the kit. We had it installed, however, by a John Deere representative. I will get back to you tomorrow (Wednesday) and give you a definite answer regarding that kit. You just might not have to purchase any. Thanks for your question.
