Payment Details
Payment must be made within five days after close of bid. Payment must be made in full prior to taking possession of vehicle. Buyer is responsible for transfer fees.
Item Description
The tractor’s clutch was replaced in 2012, power steering pump replaced in 2010, and the ROPS roof was repaired and painted in 2013. The tractor has been serviced on a regular basis. The tractor currently has 2741 use hours.
The vehicle can be inspected at the Hellam Township Public Works building Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM by appointment. Call (717) 434-1300 to schedule an appointment.
The winning bidder must submit payment to Hellam Township within five days of close of the auction. Acceptable methods of payment are certified check or cash. The winning bidder must remove the vehicle within 10 days of close of the auction. A storage fee of $25.00 per day will assessed for every day the vehicle is stored past 10 days. The vehicle is bought “AS IS” and has no implied warranties. . Hellam Township Board of Supervisor’s reserve the right to reject any and all bids.

- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
