Item Description
2010 Pierce Contender pumper. Vehicle runs, drives, and pumps and is still in use as a reserve apparatus. Truck will need some work; air leaks present, frame shows corrosion, needs a brake job, DPF canister is corroding, etc... The truck can respond to and pump a fire as it sits, but we decided it would make more sense for us to replace a 15 year old truck rather than put the money into it.
Truck has a Cummins ISL with 370 hp and 1200 tq. The hourmeter shows ~12000 hours and the odometer shows ~71,000 miles. The truck is pre DEF but does have a DPF.
Trans is an Allison gen IV 3000 evs with push button control
Pump is a single stage Waterous CSU with a 1500 gpm rating. 2024 pump testing showed a failure for the NFPA vacuum test but the truck passed all other aspects of the test and pumped to capacity during flow testing. Pump test reports from 2024 are available. With a few valve rebuilds the truck can meet or exceed NFPA pump testing.
On board Harrison PTO generator works great. Hannay cord reel in rear compartment.
4 seater cab configuration with 2 rear facing jump seats and EMS cabinet mounted at the rear cab wall.
Gortite roll up doors.
On-spot tire chains have been removed, but switch and plumbing is still in place.
Tires are at no less than 50% tread life.
Does not include hose, nozzles, radios, or appliances.

Truck is equipped with AC. Unit functions but it is not ice cold. Vent temp is about 75 degrees with an ambient air temp of 82 degrees. compressor is short cycling and sounds like it needs a recharge and possibly a small leak repair.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
