Item Description
Everything works as it should and machine is great condition
2015 Kubota KX040-4R Mini excavator with only 1790 hours enclosed cab, heat, ac, radio, 6 in 1 Blade and comes with 6 buckets.
Grading buckets 36 inch and 42 inch
Trenching buckets 12 inch, 16 inch, 24 inch and 30 inch
Additional information or inspection of equipment can be made by contacting The Limerick Township Public Works Office: 646 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, Pa 19468 weekdays between 7:30 am and 2:00 pm at 610-495-6432 ext. 318. Bids will go to the Township Board of Supervisors meeting for possible award on May 7th, 2024, at 7:00 pm.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Please Note: It is the responsibility of all bidders to read and understand the following provisions of sale and bid procedure. Failure to comply with all provisions may result in bid rejection. In the event you do not understand the following provisions and need further clarification, please contact Scott Croissette at (610)-495-6432 ext.320 or Jack Jeffers Fleet Manager at (610) 495-6432 ext. 318 Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.
SALES TRANSACTION
The successful bidder shall make payment in full and take acceptance of equipment within ten (10) working days following the bid award. Only a certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to Limerick Township will be accepted.
PRE-BID INSPECTION
All equipment offered for sale may be inspected on – site Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm at the Township Public Works Garage located behind the municipal building 646 W. Ridge Pike, Limerick PA By appointment only. Contact Scott Croissette 610-495-6432 ext.320 or Jack Jeffers 610-495-6432 ext. 318
Equipment is offered for sale “AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES” The successful bidder, upon making final payment and taking ownership, shall be responsible for removal and all cost incurred for removal of said equipment. In the event the successful bidder is unable to schedule removal of equipment at time of purchase special exceptions shall be agreed upon.
HOLD HARMLESS
The successful bidder, upon taking ownership of any and all equipment purchased within this contract shall properly safeguard against any and all injury or damage to the public, to the public and private property, materials and things, and as such, successful bidder alone shall be responsible for any and all damage, loss or injury to persons or property that may arise, or be incurred in or during the removal, future use and disposition of said equipment. In all cases, successful bidder shall keep Limerick Township free and discharge of and from any and all responsibility therefore of any sort or kind. The successful bidder shall assume all responsibility for risk or casualties of every description, for any or all damages, loss or injury to person or property arising out of any future use, ownership and or disposition of said equipment. The successful bidder upon taking ownership, shall assume and be liable for all blame and loss of whatsoever nature by reason of neglect or violation of any Federal, State or Local laws, regulations or ordinances. The successful bidder, upon taking ownership, shall indemnify and SAVE HARMLESS LIMERICK TOWNSHIP from all suits or actions of law of any kind whatsoever in connection with any future use, ownership or disposition of any kind of said equipment.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
