6.5 V-8 DIESEL, AUTOMATIC Dump. Dump Bed has some rot. Some rot in the front fenders. Does not start. Mileage is unknown, last reading was 146,000 miles+ in 2013.
GENERAL BID CONDITIONS FOR SURPLUS 2019
Bids shall be accepted online until 11:00am prevailing time, October 29, 2019. In the event of a bid arriving within 2 minutes of the bid closing, the closing may be extended by 2 minute increments until no further bids are received.
Bidders are responsible for examining items prior to bidding and are therefore strongly urged to do so. Bid items may be viewed by scheduling an appointment with Mark Sullivan, Chief Mechanic by calling 508-643-9088 prior to the bid opening date (excluding Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays). All bidders agree, by submission of bid, to the following terms and shall be required to sign a non-collision and tax form at time of bid acceptance.
The bidder certifies under penalties of perjury that this bid has been made and submitted in good faith and without collusion or fraud with any other person. As used in this certification, the word “person” shall mean any natural person, business, partnership, corporation, union, committee, club or organization, and entity or group of individuals.
Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 62C, Sec 49A, the bidder must certify under the penalties of perjury that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, the bidder is in compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts relating to taxes, reporting of employees and contractors, and withholding and remitting child support.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of North Attleborough.

PICK-UP BY THE BUYER
The Town is not responsible for damage to bid items, title passes to the buyer only after full payment has been made to the Town.
All bidders are advised that all vehicles and items are sold “as is” “where is” with no warrantee expressed or implied. The successful bidder shall assume all liability for said vehicles after the sale transaction. Bidder agrees by bidding that the Town of North Attleborough shall be held harmless for any issues or occurrences after the bidder takes possession. Bidders are advised that all items are excess, outlived there useful life and/or surplus to the Town of North Attleborough’s needs. The Town of North Attleborough has made every attempt to provide the best information available on each item being auctioned and shall not be held responsible for information that is not accurate.
The BUYER shall pick-up the equipment within 15 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays excluded) of the notification by the OWNER that the equipment is ready for pick-up. The pick-up shall be made during normal business hours, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, in the presence of an authorized employee of the Department of Public Works. The cost of pick up and transportation shall be the sole responsibility of the BUYER. The OWNER will not be responsible for any portion of the removal of the equipment from TOWN property.
Town vehicles which have distinctive marking shall be repainted within thirty (30) calendar days. All vehicles that have any marking/seals/logo’s that are specific to the Town of North Attleborough shall be removed prior to removal from the Town’s possession and property.
PAYMENT
