Item Description
This is a 2003 Elgin Mechanical Street Sweeper Series P that has been in service with the Borough of Roselle Park since approximately 2003. The body of this apparatus is a 3-wheel mechanical sweeper and has a shipping weight of 15,500 pounds. It is mechanically 4 cylinders and 100 H.P. (S.A.E.).
Attested by the Department of Public Works: The apparatus has approximately 67,033 miles on it over 15,603 hours of usage time and runs well. Sweeper was removed from service in November 2017.
This item is being sold as-is, where-is without any implied or explicit guarantees or warranties. A certificate of origin is avaliable.

All items must be removed within ten (10) business days of payment. Pickup times are restricted to DPW regular operating hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., holidays excluded. The Buyer is expected to make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the purchased property. No Assistance will be provided. Property may be removed by appointment only by contacting the Borough Clerk's Office at 908-245-6222 x1001 or x1000; appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. | |

It was fully operational when it was taken out of service in 2017; it has not been used since that time. It was taken out of service because the municipality purchased a new machine. At a minimum the battery requires a jump to start.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
