Item Description
1993 850 all-wheel drive Dresser Grader (yellow) in good working condition for its age. Mostly stored in garage and with regular maintenance. A complete, working machine with all of the parts working as expected. The grader was purchased new, and only used by the highway department in the Town of New Marlborough which holds the transferrable title. As of October 4, 2019, 13,120 hours of operation were noted. Sold as is. Sold where is. Partial maintenance records are available upon request. Miscellaneous parts, along with a plow and wing (please see photos) are included. Body has very little rust. Tires are new. The heater is in working condition. One key is available. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the machine or ask questions before bidding. The auction will be called at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 24, 2019. Bids will be voted on by the Board of Selectmen on Monday October 28, 2019. The Town of New Marlborough reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. Grader must be removed by purchaser within 10 business days after bidder has been awarded. Item will not be shipped. The successful bidder shall not transfer title, sell machine or operate grader until title is transferred from the Town to the successful bidder and the successful bidder obtains title in its own name. Payment in full is due to The Town of New Marlborough no later than 10 working days after the vote on October 28, 2019 (before November 5, 2019). - Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
