The Orange Fire Department is selling (1) 1987 Mack/Pierce CF Pumper. This truck is equipped with the 4 wheel disc brake set up and has an automatic transmission. The truck is equipped with a 1500 gal/min pump that was tested and passed all inspections in 2018. It has a 1000 gallon water tank with various rust holes near the top of the tank that have been patched over the recent years. The truck received its last annual wet service and state inspection on 3/24/2016 and was purchased new by our department in 1987. This truck runs and drives as it should and was still in service by our department up to the arrival of our new engine.
THIS VEHICLE CAN NOT BE RETURNED TO ACTIVE FIREFIGHTING USE. As it’s replacement was purchased with a Federal grant. A great truck for farm or water shuttle use.

"Hello, the photo you provided showing the serial number plate on the drivers door is not the correct serial number for this truck. evidently, your dept. put the door from the 1980 Mack they had on the 1987 Mack, and never changed out the serial number plate. this could cause a problem for a buyer. You are correct, I was unaware of the swap of the doors. We are currently attempting to contact the new owner of the 1980 and swapping those plates. At a minimum, this plate has been removed from this truck.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
