Item Description
This auction is for a 1992 Link-Belt Amphibious Hydraulic Rotary Ditcher Excavator. It was manufactured by Quality industries – now Wetland Equipment Inc. in Thibodaux, LA.
It has custom amphibious undercarriage with Link-Belt excavator mounted on it.
Amphibious Pontoon carrier model 10XT-HD-59-HYD – SR # Q11920A.
LINK-BELT excavator model LS2650 – SR # C9120773.
Excavator has std Boom & Stick. Has a std 36” digging bucket & 36” rotary ditcher bucket.
Machine has aux rear engine to power the ditcher bucket system.
Main excavator engine is original with 2250.2 Hours Aux engine is original with 1009.3 hours.
Currently in running condition and last started to keep up maintenance on 3/29/19. May need some minor work and could use a paint job! The item is considered to be in good condition. There is a manual available.

THIS EQUIPMENT WAS DESIGNED AND USED FOR OPEN MARSH WATER MANAGEMENT ON SALT MARSHES IN STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

Digging depth – assume since the Excavator is listed at 17’ – add height of pontoons and it may have a depth of 13’-15’

Overall length = max overall length is just under 31 feet, accounting for the catwalk around the excavator. It may decrease to 26’ 2” if the upper is oriented over the undercarriage allowing for more overlap.
Pontoon length = 22’-9”
Overall width = 18’-3”
Pontoon width – 5’
Pontoon height = 53-3/8”
The overall height is just under 12’ at 11’10”.
We were told the machine was delivered new to the state in multiple pieces: the excavator upper, the pontoon frame/lower and 2 pontoons. . We believe on 2 trucks. They then assembled the machine on site. This is what we were told to us. I suggest you contact a specialty transporter so they can advise you.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
