"Is the rear differential destroyed? is it still drivable? is it just making noise and needs repair in the futuredoes it start up properly does it shift properly does the motor make any excessive noise or smoke… Does it right down the road properly"

The engine runs - although it's been sitting a long while. The gears in the rear differential are bad and their is no oil in it currently. Vehicle will need to be towed.
