Item Description
The Borough of Kennett Square is selling a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria code dept car. Ex-Police car: Specs are as follows:
- 2004 Ford Crown Vic
- Gas Engine – 4.6 V-8
- Mileage 116,897
- Inspection expires 3/19
- Plastic back seat
- Interior in poor condition
- VIN # 2FAHP71WX4X179428
- Body condition – Fair. Paint faded and has nicks and scratches
- Starts with a jump. Will probably need a battery.
- Tire condition – Good
- Overall Condition - Poor
- AM/FM Radio. Radio disconnected but works
- AC and heat work, but the controls to switch from one to the other do not work. Needs work on the controls.
- Decals will be removed.
- If sold locally, the stripes will be removed. Otherwise stripes will remain.

The vehicle is being sold on an “As is, where is” basis.Bidders must be 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract as buyers. Placing a bid creates a legally binding contract between Buyer and Seller. Payment in full is due not later than seven (7) calendar days from the time and date of the Notice of award or the Borough reserves the right to relist the item or award it to the second highest bidder. The successful bidder shall make payment to the Borough of Kennett Square in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or money order, made payable to The Borough of Kennett Square, 120 Marshall St. Kennett Square PA 19348. Successful bidder shall remove item(s) within seven (7) days following receipt of payment. Refunds will not be given for items that are not picked up by the deadline. The Borough reserves the right to reject any bids received and to award to the vendor of choice.Buyer has sole responsibility of picking up truck. Delivery is not available. Borough is not responsible for vehicle once it has left Borough property.
Buyer of truck will need to accompany Borough representative to tag/title processing location to transfer title to new owner.
Vehicle can be picked up at the Borough Waste Water Treatment located at 660 W South St, Kennett Square PA 19348.
Bid will be awarded at the Borough Council meeting on Monday, January 7th, 2019.

It has the shoulder straps, but not the hooks on the seats. They may be located under the plastic prisoner seats, but we are not sure.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
