Item Description
Offered for auction to highest bidder is a Flex-Y-Plan Office Furniture U-shaped modular workstation with office chair and a 2-drawer file cabinet. The workstation is of high quality construction and very durable. The desk and overhead storage module are in excellent condition with no apparent blemishes. The chair and lateral file cabinet are in very good condition. Additional information offered below:
The workstation consists of three individual sections fastened together to form a “U” shaped workstation. The left side of the desk measures 30” Deep X 60” Wide and has two metal desk drawers and a single metal file drawer mounted below it on the inside left. The adjacent section measures 60” Wide X 20” Deep, and a third section measuring 42” Wide X 20” Deep is adjacent to it to complete the “u” shape. The third section has a 30” wide, two-drawer lateral file below it that will be included with the sale. All sections have partial modesty panels. An overhead storage module measuring 60” Wide is included. The overhead storage module includes a single shelf and flipper door but can be lifted off of the work surface if the buyer wishes to place the workstation under a window. The storage module also comes with a fabric tack board. All vertical surfaces are “tranquility gray” laminate while the horizontal surfaces and flipper doors are “blueberry matrix” laminate. Each of the individual worksurface components can be disassembled and reconfigured to fit your office space.
An armless office chair in a gray patterned fabric is included to complete the office workstation.
Lot 7 matches Lots 8 and 9 offered for sale in two separate auctions on this website. Lot 8 (L-shaped modular workstation) is depicted in the attached rendering on the opposite side of Lot 7 to form two semi-private workstations if the overhead storage modules are mounted back-to-back.
All items are offered for sale “AS IS WHERE IS’ with no warranty or guaranty expressed or implied. All prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the furniture or ask questions before bidding. All items must be removed by purchaser within 5 business days of auction end date. - Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
