Item Description
The City of Williamsport is selling a 2014 Ford Taurus police car. The car was taken out of service this month. It was purchased new and used as a marked patrol unit. There are holes drilled in the roof and trunk lid. The interior has holes in it from mounting equipment for patrol. The front seats are cloth, the back seats are vinyl. The car was serviced regularly by our in house mechanic. There are leaks that are shown in the photos. This car has a history with the Ford garage because of issues with the PTU unit. The PTU was recently replaced and began leaking weeks later. The car has 83351 miles on it and 9198 hrs on the motor. Motor is a 3.7L V-6. There is a dent in the rear trunk lid. Inspection is good until 10/18. This car has heavy duty Napa fleet brake pads and carbon fiber rotors installed. The tires are in good shape. The rear doors and windows are inoperable from inside. Everything else works/operates as it should.
Successful bidder will have 10 days from auction end to pay for and pick up the vehicle.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
