Questions/Answers Ask the seller a question about this auction.

You must be signed in to ask and answer questions.
Q:
"What is the source of the hydraulic leak? -Collector Ring? -Hose break? -Hydraulic pump? What was the estimate to get it repaired? When was its last aerial certification? If it failed the last cert test, why did it fail? Are there any known cracks/damage in the torque box or ladder sections itself? "
- Asked by #575686 03/19/2018 10:45 PM
A:
We believe the leak was at one of the pistons on the boom -- not sure exactly where. When we got an estimate, it was approx. $6,000 to repack the cylinders. We do not have paperwork on the last time the aerial was certified. There are no known cracks, but there is rust on the boom section.

- Asked by #8318597 03/20/2018 06:41 PM
A:
I do not know the Baker model and serial. Also not sure of the GVWR, but it is over 26,000 lbs.

Q:
"How long has it been sitting outside? When was the last time it was started? Are there any known mechanical or inspection issues that would prevent it from being driven?"
- Asked by #575686 03/23/2018 08:41 AM
A:
It has been outside for a few months. It gets started every few weeks. When we parked it, there were no known mechanical issues that would prevent the vehicle from being driven. The only current issues are with the aerial system. There may also be some emergency warning lights that are burnt out.
