Item Description
1985 Elgin Pelican Type S sweeper, powered by a John Deere 4239T turbo charged diesel engine, having a hydrostatic transmission, a single mechanically driven side broom with six-way flexibility, hydraulic suspension on main broom, spring guide wheel assembly and a rubber cleated conveyor belt to load the 3 cu. yd. hopper.
This street sweeper is in working order and was used until recently replaced with newer equipment. The rear and side brooms are functional and in decent shape. It has been well maintained.
The equipment shall be sold on "as is, where is" basis and there shall be no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. All sales final. Township reserves right to reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the Township. Bid will be awarded on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 7:30PM during the regularly scheduled Annville Township Commissioners meeting at 36 N. Lancaster Street, Annville, PA 17003, Lebanon County, PA. Purchaser responsible for all costs of transferring and removing the vehicle and sales tax, if applicable. Payment is required within 10 days of award via certified check. Failure to make payment may result in the unit being offered to the next highest bidder.
Purchaser responsible for picking up the vehicle and removing the sweeper. Annville Township does not and will not load. All items to be removed within twenty (20) days of award. Any items left after twenty (20) days from award will be considered abandoned property. Hours for pick up 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday only.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
