Item Description
1977 American LaFrance / Century Series (VIN: CE145525), Detroit Diesel Engine, Automatic Transmission, 1500 GPM Pump, Engine Hours: 3,246, Millage: 9,122. Has valid PA State Vehicle Inspection (thru 5/2017.) Engine is currently in service, 2 out pumper. The unit was refurbished and repainted in October of 1996, purchased new by the Borough of Ambridge in 1977-78.
All portable equipment will be removed from the engine including generator, adapters and caps. Warning lights and siren will remain; fire radio equipment will be removed. UPDATE ON ENGINE 2 - Pump has been certified (picture below), truck is 27' long bumper to bumper. Pump caps will be included on this Engine.
Truck will be sold as-is with no warranty. Successful bidder will be required to make full payment either with money order or cashier’s check and take the truck within fifteen (15) days of awarded bid. Winning bidder is responsible for costs associated with transfer of title. What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.

If you do not pay for your item, you will not receive a refund of your buyer's final sale fee, you will no longer be permitted to bid on municibid.com and will be subject to a penalty of 40% of the winning bid amount. If your credit card is declined for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $50 fee.
