The winning bidder shall be notified after the close of the auction. The winning bidder agrees to pay for item(s) by money order or certified bank check payable to the Town of Burlington . Winning bidder shall mail check to Town of Burlington, Accounting Office at 29 Center St.Burlington, MA before receiving good(s).Once the successful bidder has taken possession of the items, the transaction shall be recorded in the form of a written receipt for the payment and the purchaser shall sign a written acknowledgment of receipt of the item. The Town Administrator will be responsible for signing any Bill of Sale or Registry Title prior to a successful bidder taking possession of the respective item after confirmation of payment. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any bid if that is in the best interests of the Town.

Item Description

A 2017 Ford Explorer Police Inceptor with miles 96094 has all-wheel drive. Due to the previous cage, the rear seats and door panels are missing. No rear seats are available. The car is in decent shape but will need a battery to run. It was taken out of service due to a new vehicle arriving. It is suggested that it be towed off the lot. Valid Inspection sticker through July.

What if the selling agency rejects my bid?

If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
