Item Description
2000 GMC C8500 Dump Truck - 39,000 GVW.
Caterpillar 3126, 250 HP engine with Eaton Fuller 8-speed manual transmission with Lo/Lo.
30,362 miles, 4,370 engine hours.
Current inspection valid until January 2016.
Central hydraulics with manual controls.
Galion Model 408U 10 ft steel dump body.
Pioneer Cover-All Model G500 Power Tarp System.
Viking 11 ft, 42" high power angle plow.
Henderson stainless steel tailgate spreader.
Tires - all in good condition (50% or more tread remaining). Front: Michelin 315/80 R. 22.5. Rear: 11 R 22.5.
All components, features, attachments and accessories are in good working order.
Municipal seals on doors will be removed prior to sale. Truck may be used for salting/plowing operations, if necessary, prior to sale. (Hope it never snows!)
Vehicle is being sold "AS IS". There are no warranties, either expressed or implied, associated with this vehicle.
Item is available for inspection by appointment only by calling 610-275-2800 x115 between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday - Friday. Successful bids will be awarded at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting of December 8, 2015. Upon award notification, successful bidder shall submit payment in full to the Township within five (5) business days.
East Norriton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities that may be in the Township's best interest.

No recent major repairs or maintenance has been necessary on this truck. Clutch is original but in good condition. No reason to believe there would be any issues on a long trip. All front end components are in good condition. Call if you have other specific questions.

Our Buyers Fees
With Municibid, pricing is clear, up-front and transparent. A buyer's fee (% of the winning bid amount) will be charged directly to the winning bidder upon the close of each auction via the credit card you entered prior to placing the bid. If buyers fee is 8% for bids up to $99,999.99, 5% for bids $100,000 - $499,999.99, and 4% for bids over $500,000.
- Winning bid: $50,000: = Buyers fee: $4,000 (8% of $50,000).
- Winning bid: $150,000: = Buyers fee: $10,500 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + (5% of $50,000 = $2,500).
- Winning bid: $550,000: = Buyers fee: $30,000 (8% of $100,000 = $8,000) + 5% of $400,000 = $20,000) + (4% of $50,000 = $2,000).
Where can I see what the buyers fee is?
The current buyers fee will always be shown on the page of the listing under the current price in both the bid area and auction details area. You will also see the buyers fee amount you will pay for your entered bid on the page where you confirm your bid.
What if the selling agency rejects my bid?
If the government agency rejects your bid (they reserve the right to do so) your buyer's fee will be returned, in full, to you within 5 days of notification to Municibid of the rejected bid by the governing body.
