"Was the tractor just recently repainted? On the one back wheel, I see rust and maybe calcium leaking around the valve stem and possibly rim. Is there an issue with this? I cannot see the opposite rear tire. What is the status on that tire?" - Asked by #566446 08/31/2015 01:28 PM |
A: |
Tractor was painted approx. 6 years ago. Rear tires are filled with calcium and there is a small amount of rust around the valve stems on both rims. Rust is certainly not to the point where rim is rusting out. Valve stems probably need new fluid cores put in them. Being filled with fluid the rims sweat in the winter months. Both rims and tires are in good condition.
