Whether you are a Buyer or Seller, the process of creating an account cannot be easier. All you need to do is fill out our registration form and verify your account. Registration Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.) I did not receive the email to confirm my account, what should I do? While we send the confirmation email immediately, it may take up to an hour for you to receive it (based on your provider). Also, please check your spam/junk mail folder for this email. Please set activity@municibid.com as a safe sender as this is the email address our system uses (for outbid notices, etc). If after an hour you still do not have the confirmation email, please contact us.
Why is the website not taking my credit card information? We use PayPal Merchant Services to handle credit card authorization and transactions, because they are great at it. If your credit card is not being accepted, there is usually a problem with your billing address (needs to be the same as the card) or your account can not be pre-authorized for another reason. If you are using a debit card, the funds (to cover the buyer's final sale fee only) need to be in the account. We have limited information on why your card might not clear. Please make sure you are entering a country and state for your billing address. If you are still having issues please call PayPal Merchant Services 1-888-221-1161 to help solve these issues. Do I need a credit card to register? No, you do not need a credit card to register. You will need a credit card if you want to bid on an item. The credit card is used to process the "Buyers Final Sale Fee" only. The payment for the actual item itself is made to the seller. Why do I have to put in my credit card information again if I already did it before? We require that users who have not logged in within 30 days re-enter their credit card information for security reasons. I can't remember my login or password. If you forget your login/password click the "Forgot your password? CLICK HERE!" link below the login boxes. You will be then taken to a screen where you need to enter the email address you used when you registered your account. If you do not recieve an email from us within an hour please contact us. |
