The Town of Swampscott is selling one (1) used GMC Dump Truck previously utilized by the Department of Public Works. This vehicle will be sold in “as is” condition. This vehicle is located at the Department of Public Works, 200 Paradise Road, Swampscott, MA 01907. All prospective bidders may contact Gino Cresta for further information on the vehicles condition or to schedule a site visit at (781) 596-8860. The vehicle will be awarded to the highest bidder at the conclusion of the auction.
Prior to submitting a bid, all bidders must acknowledge the following and the highest accepted bidders must sign a certificate of non collusion and a tax compliance statement as follows. The bidder certifies under penalties of perjury that this bid has been made and submitted in good faith and without collusion or fraud with any other person. As used in this certification, the word “person” shall mean any natural person, business, partnership, corporation, union, committee, club, or organization, entity, or group of individuals. Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 62C, Sec 49A, the bidder must certify under the penalties of perjury that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the bidder is in compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts relating to taxes, reporting of employees and contractors, and withholding and remitting child support.
The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Swampscott.
