The City of Salem is selling one (1) used Snow Blower previously utilized by the Department of Public Services. This machine will be sold in “as is” condition. This machine is located at the Department of Public Services, 5 Jefferson Avenue, Salem, MA 01970. All prospective bidders may contact Steve Tassinari for further information on the machines condition or to schedule a site visit at 978-745-2676. The vehicle will be awarded to the highest bidder at the conclusion of the auction.
Prior to submitting a bid, all bidders must acknowledge the following and the highest accepted bidders must sign a certificate of non collusion and a tax compliance statement as follows. The bidder certifies under penalties of perjury that this bid has been made and submitted in good faith and without collusion or fraud with any other person. As used in this certification, the word “person” shall mean any natural person, business, partnership, corporation, union, committee, club, or organization, entity, or group of individuals. Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 62C, Sec 49A, the bidder must certify under the penalties of perjury that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the bidder is in compliance with all laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts relating to taxes, reporting of employees and contractors, and withholding and remitting child support.
The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Salem.
