Wallace Township is offering for sale a 2003 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4, VIN 1FMPU16LX3LB75073. Vehicle is a former Police vehicle. Approximately 128,000 miles, 5.4 liter V8 engine. PA inspected until 6/11. Options include: am/fm CD cassette stereo, power mirrors, power windows, power locks, AC, tachometer, tow hitch, remote entry, auto on headlamps, and tilt wheel. The light control console remains between the seats and rear divider shield is still in place between front and rear seats. Inspections are both welcome and encouraged before you bid. The Seller, Wallace Township, is bound by certain State laws and regulations pertaining to the sale of Township property. Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Second Class Township Code, the Township has the right to reject any and all bids and official action by the Township must be taken in order for it to authorize the sale to the winning bidder. The successful bidder shall submit payments in full to the Township within fourteen (14) days of receiving notice from the Township of the bid award. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the bid.
Sold "As Is;" No Warranties. The Township notes that the property is being sold and conveyed (and accepted by Buyer at time of delivery) AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL DEFECTS AND WITHOUT ANY WRITTEN OR ORAL REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW BY OPERATION OF LAW. The Township makes no representation, warranty or covenant, express, implied or statutory, of any kind whatsoever with respect to the Property, including, without limitation, representation, warranty or covenant as to title, survey conditions, use of the Property for Buyer's intended use, the condition of the Property, past or present use, development, investment potential, tax ramifications or consequences, compliance with the law, presence or absence of hazardous substances, habitability, merchantability, fitness or suitability for any purpose, or any other matter with respect to the Property (collectively, the "Condition of the Property”). The Buyer is to assume responsibility for determining whether the Property is sufficient for his/her/its purposes. The Township disclaims any representations, warranties, quarantines, or conditions as to the quality, suitability, accuracy, or completeness of the Property. Buyer shall also acknowledge that the Township has made no representation, warranty, or covenant as to the Condition of the Property or compliance of the Property with any federal, state, municipal or local statutes, laws, rules, regulations or ordinances including, without limitation, those pertaining to construction, building and health codes, land use, zoning, hazardous substances or toxic wastes or substances, pollutants, contaminants, or other environmental matters.
By submitting a bid on the Property, Buyer, on behalf of itself and its successors and assigns, waives any rights to recover from, and forever releases and discharges, the Township, its officers, employees and agents, and their respective heirs, successors, personal representatives and assigns, from any and all demands, claims, legal or administrative proceedings losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, fines, liens, judgments, costs or expenses whatsoever (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees and costs), whether director indirect, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that may arise. By submitting a bid, Buyer also acknowledges that there are no buyer's premiums or transaction charges, and that Buyer will be responsible for any additional charges relating to the auction such as shipping.
